Gift Guide: Type One

Looking for something special for your favorite Enneagram One? Can’t decide what to pick up for your sister-in-law or coworker? You’re in luck! These gift guides are here to help with your holiday shopping (and don’t forget to pick up a little something for yourself as well).

When I asked on Instagram, Ones shared that they have a few gifting guidelines: they would love to receive something practical or useful, money, or a tool to contribute to their hobbies. Ones don’t like to add clutter to their lives, so they would love for you to stick to their exact list! It’s okay to ask them what’s on it. And while many Ones said they’d love a great vacuum, please don’t get your One a vacuum unless they’ve asked for it! You’ve been warned 😅

HERE’S THE FULL LIST OF MOST-REQUESTED GIFTS FROM ONES:

Not sure what type you are? Here’s a little more about Ones.

Enneagram Ones are diligent and industrious. They are idealists who view the world in terms of what could be, and therefore work tirelessly to perfect their environment. They have an “inner critic” - a voice in their head telling them to do better, be better, they should be perfect, etc. They have a strong sense of justice and want to make the world a better place. They are in the Gut or Anger triad, but they suppress their anger because they believe it isn’t right or appropriate to express it.
